Egyptian International Shipping Agencies and Services (EISAS), a subsidiary of EIS Group, proudly announces the completion of a significant 16,000 square meter extension to its Inland Container Depot (ICD). This expansion doubles the depot’s size to 32,000 square meters and increases its total handling capacity to 7,000 TEUs, further strengthening EISAS’s ability to serve the evolving needs of Egypt’s trade and logistics sectors.
Located within 2 km of Ain El Sokhna Port, the expanded ICD is ideally positioned to support efficient container storage, handling, and logistics services for both importers and exporters. Since its establishment in 2012, the EISAS ICD has handled over 1 million TEUs, reinforcing its reputation as the leading inland depot in Sokhna.
The facility offers a wide range of services, including loaded and empty container storage, cargo stuffing, PTI services, reefer plug availability, certified container repairs, and dedicated office space for customs clearance. With robust security, EDI integration, and a state-of-the-art firefighting system, EISAS ensures safe and fully insured operations for all clients.
