
K Line Boss Myochin Takes New Role As Succession Plan Revealed
Following a board meeting on Monday, Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (K Line) has revealed significant changes in its leadership, including new roles for the chairperson of the board, president and CEO, and other key representatives.
The company stated that it will be implementing a new management structure aimed at ensuring sustainable growth and enhancing corporate value in the future.
Effective March 28, 2025, Yukikazu Myochin, the current representative director, president, and CEO, will assume the role of director and chairperson of the board.
Takenori Igarashi, who is currently the senior managing executive officer, will be appointed as the director, representative executive officer, president, and CEO of the company.
Additionally, Yutaka Akutagawa, the current managing executive officer, will transition to the role of senior managing representative executive officer.
These leadership appointments are contingent upon approval at the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders scheduled for March 28, followed by a subsequent meeting of the board of directors.
